We are offering a choice glossy promo photo featuring the famous Dionne Quintuplets from the 1938 movie comedy "FIVE OF A KIND".
The film follows the rivalry between radio journalists that culminates in a competition to cover the exploits of famous quintuplets played by the 5 Dionne girls.
The Quintuplets in the movie are shown to live an idealized version of the life of the Dionne Quints. Shortly after their birth, the girls were made wards of the state and raised in a theme park type hospital situation. For the first nine years of their life, the children were treated like a zoo attraction.
The photo is studio numbered Q-35 (lower left corner). THIS IS AN ORIGINAL VINTAGE PROMOTIONAL PHOTO (NOT A LATER REPRODUCTION).
We consider condition as GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Mild surface creasing with one small white border edge tear (approx. 1/4"). No pinholes. Extensive glue staining on photo BACK (not visible on photo front). A very displayable example by most standards (see photos).
Overall, this studio would make a great display for the discriminating DIONNE QUINTUPLETS and/or MOVIE MEMORABILIA enthusiast. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item(s) rated - (7).
