Vehicle DetailsThis GT500 WAS NEVER IN AN ACCIDENT. NEVER ANY FRAME DAMAGE & NO ODOMETER ISSUES. The car god will reward me for saving this American muscle car, EVERYTHING RECENTLY RESTORE, LIKE NEW. This soon-to-be American classic will not lose value. I bought this car at a local insurance auction for the transmission. Upon a thorough inspection, I decided to restore this Shelby as there was nothing wrong with the car aside from only missing a front bumper. I then decided to tastefully upgrade the car with an Eleanor body kit from Cervinis. I went with the expensive full kit that included dual-side exhaust. After collaboration with Cervinis, we determined this is 1 of 1, a 2008 Real Shelby GT500 Eleanor. This car is the only true Shelby GT500 with a complete Eleanor kit from Cervinis (Gone in 60 Seconds type). The car comes with a certificate from Shelby. The interior is excellent with no rips or tears, the seats look and smell like new. The steering wheel is custom wrap in alcantara suede and billet aluminum accent trim that includes the E-brake and Shelby pedals, nice weighted custom Shelby gray with black stripes shifter knob to match and new tinted windows. The engine upgrades include ceramic full headers, catted X pipe, JLT carbon fiber cold air intake, oil catch can, enlarged Supercharger VMP elbow, larger throttle body, larger performance intercooler, new pump, pushing over 600 horsepower to the new Ford Performance flywheel using a custom performance tune loaded on a brand new SCT handheld turner, which is also included. The transmission also has a new Ford Performance dual-clutch, with an upgraded throw-out bearing, one-piece aluminum driveshaft. The brakes have all-new Ford Performance front and rear rotors, brake pads, and stainless steel brake lines. New front Brembo calipers. The tires are new BF Goodrich on Ford Performance 19' staggered wheels. Upgraded suspension with BMR adjustable rear upper control arm, fixed lower, adjustable lower control arm brackets, Koni front struts with Ford Performance lowering springs. Just performed 60,000-mile maintenance and services at Casa Ford dealership (over 00). All, I mean all new fluids and filters replaced. The body has a completely new quality two-stage paint job with an extra coat of clear, new 3M dark grey vinyl strips that appear to disappear in the sun, letting the beautiful metallics paint sparkle. I just drove the car to California to register it, because my cousin bought the car for me at a wholesale auction. The odometer issue on the carfax comes from when I switched over the salvaged title, the DMV did not report the mileage. The dates reflect no chance of mileage altering. The car got tons of compliments and thumbs up everywhere. The car comes with a California title and has current California tags until March 2022. This trip was the car’s maiden voyage after a complete restoration. Drove from Texas to California listening to music on the car's Shaker 1000 factory audio with a subwoofer in the trunk and the car drove flawlessly. Every system has been serviced at Ford to include the ice-cold A/C. The car is literally like new. All I had to really do was put a front bumper, get her maintenance (TLC), but I enjoy doing things right and decided to build a dream machine. The only reason this beauty is for sale is that I purchased a new Corvette and I cannot afford to keep both. The frame is factory straight, it was not repaired nor altered as it was never wrecked. Car drives amazingly. I also have Shelby Hood Pins, but I have not worked up the nerve to drill holes in the brand-new hood. I also have an American Muscle Push Start kit that I have not installed yet that will be included in box. I am an active duty service member and not a car dealer. This GT500 WAS NEVER IN AN ACCIDENT.
