    STARRETT COMBINATION SQUARE WITH no.4 12" RULE and PROTRACTOR HEAD.
    This is a vintage, used, but very crisp and clean combination square, perfect for woodworker, machinist, etc.  As you can see from the photos, both vials are intact, both heads are clean and free of damage.  There are no major scratches or cracks or dings - only the surface paint wear that is clearly visible in the photos.  The blade has super-clear markings (8ths, 16th, 32nds, and 64ths) and very crisp edges without the usual rounded edges that you usually see in older models like this.  This one didn't spend too much time banging around in a box full of other tools.  So, basically, this is the high-quality worker that you have been looking for - it has just enough wear to look cool and help you not feel precious about using it, but is still 100% usable and accurate.  I would keep it myself except that I have another just like it.
